Why the material list matters

AdBlue is not fuel

Three properties of a 32.5 % urea solution decide which parts can go on the line.

It attacks common metals

Copper, brass, zinc-plated steel and ordinary carbon steel are all corroded by urea solution. Wetted parts on this range are stainless steel or a specified polymer such as PPS.

It crystallises as it dries

Left to dry, the solution leaves crystals that jam nozzles and seize meters. Nozzles are self-draining and hose ends stay sealed between fills.

It freezes at −11 °C

Outdoor installations in cold climates need a heated cabinet or an insulated line. Tell us your site temperature range and we will size the heater and the tank connection.

Everything between the tank and the filler neck. Each part on this list is stainless steel or PPS in the wetted path — no copper, brass or zinc anywhere the solution touches.

PPS Oval Gear Pulse Meter

PPS body and PPS gears, so there is no metal in the metering path at all. Pulser output feeds a register or a controller. Two sizes cover the whole range.

DEF Positive Displacement Meter

Stainless steel in the wetted path, with a mechanical counter on the front face so it totals the delivery without any electronics on the line. Each revolution of the pistons passes 0.5 L, so the count is read straight off the drum.
