Certification for fuel station equipment is not a single document but a set, and which ones apply depends on the product and the market it ships to. Fuel dispensers have held EU ATEX certification since 2016, building on the explosion-proof certification and the Fuel Dispenser Manufacturing Licence obtained in 2010, and the nozzle range carries US UL certification. When a tender specifies an ATEX certified fuel dispenser or an explosion proof fuel dispenser, that certificate set is what we send with the quotation.
Flameproof equipment is marked to the IEC 60079 scheme. Datian's flameproof assemblies sit in the Ex db IIB family — flameproof enclosure (db), gas group IIB — alongside the Ex h and Ex mb / sb protection used elsewhere in the same units. If a project calls for a different marking, ask our engineers for the exact nameplate wording before you specify.
For the Chinese market the equivalent route runs through PCEC, the national explosion-protected electrical product quality supervision and inspection centre, while IECEx covers the international scheme and the EAC numbers listed above cover the Eurasian Customs Union. If your market asks for a UL listed assembly rather than the UL certified nozzle range, tell us which standard applies to your tender and we will confirm what covers the model you need.

Zhejiang Datian Machine Co., Ltd. ist seit 1995 als chinesischer Hersteller von Kraftstoffzapfsäulen und Exporteur von Tankstellenausrüstung tätig – vom Kraftstoffausrüstungs-Standort Wenzhou in Yongjia, Provinz Zhejiang. Das Exportgeschäft begann nicht mit kompletten Stationen, sondern mit Pumpen und Teilen für andere Zapfsäulenhersteller – und so bewegt sich bis heute der größte Teil unseres Volumens: Zapfsäulen, Tauchturbinenpumpen, Dampfrückgewinnungsanlagen, Durchflussmesser, Zapfventile und die ATEX-zertifizierten Elektrokomponenten, die sie verbinden.
Because the same skid can ship to several regimes, certification is prepared per destination rather than per product. A Turkey fuel dispenser supplier enquiry normally turns on the IEP type-examination certificates; a Russia fuel dispenser supplier order runs on the EAC numbers held for submersible pumps, motors and combination pumps; and a Middle East fuel dispenser contract usually also needs the commissioning and cloud-monitoring documentation that goes with a Stage III vapor recovery unit.
