Submersible Turbine Pump

Type DT-STP Series

The pump comprises two principal parts: the motor with its aspiration mechanism, which is completely immersed and forms the flameproof enclosure, and the discharge head. The two are connected by concentric pipes — the inner pipe carries the power supply cable, the outer pipe carries the pumped liquid.

An electric motor-driven centrifugal pump is connected to a manifold assembly by a coaxial column pipe assembly that transfers fuel from the pump to the manifold and electrically connects the motor to the incoming power. The centrifugal motor is submerged in the liquid contained in the storage tank, supplying motor fuel to one or more remote control-type dispensing locations.

IEP 26 ATEX 1836X — issued by IEP Energy Petroleum Institute. Covers the DT-STP series for use in Zone 0 and Zone 1 as defined in EN 60079-10-1 and EN 60079-10-2.

A capacitor is only required on single-phase 220 V versions (25 µF for 0.75 HP / 1.5 HP, 40 µF for 2 HP). Three-phase 380 V motors run without a capacitor.
