Emergency shut-off valve fitted at the dispenser inlet on submersible-pump installations. It cuts the fuel flow off automatically and rapidly, protecting the pump line when the dispenser is knocked over or catches fire.
The valve works on a fusible element and a cutting ring, so it also closes on a rise in temperature.
